Mikhail Bulgakov
My introduction to Bulgakov came with The Master and Margarita and until I get my hands on another, The Master and Margarita it will remain. The novel blew me away by its subtlety and wit. Is this the funniest book I’ve ever read? Not only funny because I never lived under Stalin; tragic for the truth it brings to light.
