Good Books Listed by Author
Good Books is my dedication to the writers that have most influenced my life, writing or otherwise. The greatness of their written-legacy doesn’t lie merely in their words but in the passion with which their lives were lived. The passionate personal-regard for life is evident in their words, through the life-stirring force with which they were written. So the cycle goes.
Good Books also works as an archive of sorts. Within many of the writers listed below one may follow me on to longer demagoguery.
A book lives through the passionate recommendation of one reader to another. Nothing can throttle this basic impulse in the human being. Despite the views of cynics and misanthropes, it is my belief that men will always strive to share their deepest experiences. —Henry Miller, The Books in My Life
